アンガマ（石垣島）
石垣島など八重山地方に伝わる旧盆行事。あの世からの使者であるウシュマイ（お爺）・ンミ（お婆）がお供を連れて石垣島の家々を訪問し、踊りや歌を披露して祖先供養を行います。見物人とウシュマイ・ンミとの珍問答も見どころです。
This is an old Bon Festival event in the Yaeyama region, such as Ishigaki Island. Ushumai (grandfather) and Nmi (grandmother), who are messengers from the other world, visit houses in Ishigaki Island with their attendants and perform dance and songs to offer memorial services for ancestors. The unique question-and-answer session between the audience and Ushumai and Nmi is also an attraction of
the festival.
