サン（サングヮー）（沖縄県）
ススキの葉や茅などを結んで作るお守り。古くからマジムン（魔物）除けとしてお弁当や手土産、お供え物の重箱などに添えたり、子どものカバンや枕元にしのばせます。近年ではアクセサリーや小物のモチーフとしても人気です。
An amulet made by tying silver grass leaves or thatch. Since ancient times, they have been used to ward off evil spirits by attaching them to lunch boxes, souvenirs, and offerings, or by placing them in children’s bags or under their pillows. In recent years, they have also become popular as motifs for accessories and small items.
