花ブロック（沖縄県）
沖縄の住宅や商業施設など、さまざまな建物で使われる「花ブロック」。強い日差しを和らげながら、風や光を取り込むことができる、機能性と美しさを兼ね備えた建材として沖縄で誕生しました。花ブロック建築といえば名護市役所が有名ですが、近年は県外からも注目を集めています。
Originated in Okinawa, flower blocks are used as a building material that have both functionality and beauty. They can take in wind and light while softening the strong sunlight. You can see those in various buildings such as residential and commercial facilities in Okinawa and Nago City Hall, which are both famous for flower blocks architecture. In recent years, they are paid attention from outside the prefecture.
