サガリバナ（西原町）
夏の夜に開花し、朝には花弁を散らせる一夜限りの花。マングローブなどの湿地に自生し、その特性から「幻の花」と呼ばれています。夜空に咲く花火のように美しい花で、辺り一面に漂う、独特の甘い香りが特徴です。
A flower that blooms only one night in the summer before the petals fall off in
the morning. It grows wild in wetlands such as mangroves, and is called a “flower of illusion” because of its nature. The flowers are as breathtaking as fireworks in
the night sky, and have a sweet, unique scent that fills the entire area.
