首里城公園（那覇市）
琉球王国の政治・外交・文化の中心地として、450年にわたり栄華を誇った首里城。1992年に国立公園として開園し、かつての面影を偲ばせる美しい城門や建築物が復元されています。2000年には正殿の基壇遺構が世界遺産に登録されました。
Shurijo Castle has prospered for 450 years as the political, diplomatic, and cultural center of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Opened as a national park in 1992, its beautifully restored castle gates and buildings are a reminder of its former glory. The remains of the foundation of the main hall were registered as a World Heritage Site in 2000.
