三線の日（沖縄県）
中国にルーツを持つ弦楽器・三線。15世紀頃から琉球王国で発展し、18世紀には三線の楽譜・工工四（くんくんしー）が誕生しました。それまで口承で伝えられてきた琉球古典音楽が楽譜に残されるようになり、今もなお弾き継がれています。
The sanshin, a stringed instrument with roots in China, was developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom from around the 15th century, and the sanshin score “Kunkunshi” was born in the 18th century. Until then, Ryukyuan classical music had been passed down orally, but now it has been preserved in sanshin score and is played today.
