ガンガラーの谷（南城市）
本島南部・南城市にある、数十万年前の鍾乳洞が崩壊してできた自然の谷。約2万年前に生きた港川人の居住跡と推測される遺跡や、世界最古の釣り針が発見された貴重なスポットです。予約制のガイドツアーに参加することで入場できます。
A natural valley in Nanjo City in the southern part of the main island, formed by
the collapse of a limestone cave hundreds of thousands of years ago. The site is
a precious place where remains of supposed residences of Minatogawa Man, who lived approximately 20,000 years ago, and the world’s oldest fish hook have been discovered. Visitors can enter by joining a guided tour by reservation only.
