卓球（沖縄県）
沖縄では近年、卓球の競技人口が増加傾向にあります。沖縄のプロ卓球チーム「琉球アスティーダ」は、2021年に設立3年目にしてTリーグ優勝を飾り、日本卓球界を牽引する強豪。プロスポーツチームとして国内で初めて上場を果たし、沖縄から世界へ挑戦するチームとして注目されています。
The number of people playing table tennis has been increasing in Okinawa in recent years. Okinawa’s professional table tennis team, Ryukyu Asteeda, won the T-League championship in 2021 in its third year of establishment and is a strong leader in the Japanese table tennis scene. The team is the first professional sports team in Japan to be listed on a stock exchange, and is gaining attention for being a team that challenges the world from Okinawa.
