ハビャーン（久高島）
久高島の最北端にある「ハビャーン（カベール岬）」は、琉球神話の女神アマミキヨが降り立った聖地とされています。現在も祭祀が行われる、大切な場所の一つです。集落を抜け、島の中央部から伸びる白い一本道を進むと岬に到着。波によって荒く削られた岩肌と透明度の高い海は、自然の壮大さを感じさせます。
※祭祀の日は立入禁止となり、普段も遊泳禁止の場所です。訪れる際は島のルールをよくご確認ください。
“Habyan (Cape Kaberu)” at the northern tip of Kudaka Island, is the sacred place where the goddess of Ryukyu mythology, Amamikiyo, landed. It is still one of the important places for rituals. Passing through the village and following the straight, white road from the central of the island, you will find the cape. The wave-cut rocks and the clear sea make you feel the magnificent nature. *It is off limits on ritual days and does not allow swimming. Please check the rules in the island carefully when visiting.
