平和の礎（糸満市）
太平洋戦争・沖縄戦終結50周年を記念し、世界の恒久平和を願って、糸満市・平和祈念公園内に建設された慰霊碑。国籍や軍人・民間人の区別なく、沖縄戦等で亡くなられた20万人余の人々の名前が母国語で刻まれています。
A memorial built in Peace Memorial Park in Itoman City to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Pacific War and the Battle of Okinawa, and to wish for lasting peace in the world. The names of more than 200,000 people who died in
the Battle of Okinawa and other battles are commemorated in their native languages, regardless of nationality or whether they were military or civilian victims.
